L.J. Weslowski is Transit Director at Concord Kannapolis Area Transit. He has over 21 years’ experience in public transportation, working up through the ranks as a bus operator, dispatcher, supervisor, van operator, CDL trainer, and motor coach operator before transitioning into operations and planning and now system management, working to improve safety and service delivery at each step along the way. Mr. Weslowski has an extensive background in small to mid-size public transit operations, with specific focus in the critical areas of safety, security, and customer service delivery. Having worked on both the private sector and public sector sides of public transportation, he also brings extensive experience with funding, procurement, technology implementation, labor negotiations, regulatory compliance, planning, grant writing & management, and financial and asset resource management.
Mr. Weslowski holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources Studies from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and a Master’s Degree in Sport Studies from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst Isenberg School of Management. Selected in 2010 as one of Mass Transit’s Top 40 Under 40, he is also a past bus roadeo champion and an award winning photographer. He is an active member of several Cabarrus Health Alliance committees, including the 2016 Healthy Cabarrus Community Planning Council.
Jaime Tippett Poe graduated from East Carolina University in 2007 with a BS in Exercise Physiology and from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She worked in inpatient and outpatient Physical Therapy prior to joining Concord Kannapolis Area Transit (Rider) in 2018 as ADA Coordinator. She was recently promoted to Transit Manager, continuing to oversee ADA Paratransit, but has added safety and contractor oversight to her daily tasks. She enjoys serving her community, improving mobility for all, helping people to achieve their goals, increase their independence, and better their quality of life. She is a mother to two boys, Phelps and Kerr. She loves all things Disney, going to the lake, and cooking for friends and family.
Brian has over seven years of microtransit and on-demand project management experience. At RideCo, he leads the end-to-end integration process including project management, technical implementation, data migration, testing, training, and onboarding of new clients. Brian brings in-depth knowledge of public transit, on-demand microtransit and paratransit programs, and SaaS implementations. Being in the industry for so long, he uses his extensive real-world experience to ensure successful deployments and analyzes operational data to optimize services and exceed target KPIs. In addition, Brian has volunteered his time as a transit and connectivity board member in his local community for over six years
Brian has launched and manages several on-demand projects at RideCo including Tulsa Transit (microtransit and paratransit), SporTran (Shreveport, LA), Plymouth Transit (Plymouth, MN), The M (Montgomery, AL) and CK Rider (Concord, NC) and throughout his career has launched and managed a wide-range of on-demand systems at transit agencies and corporations nationwide.
