Since 2011, the population of Cochrane, Alberta in Canada has been growing at a rate of nearly 10% per year. As the town has grown, the need for public transit has become clear. Instead of turning to an expensive and often inefficient traditional fixed-route system, the town of Cochrane engaged Rideco to design and operate a customized on-demand microtransit system for residents.
